Happy Valentine's Day!

It seems from Halloween until Easter, we are assaulted with all sorts of yummy candies and treats. It makes is so hard for those of us who are trying to do better. This year for Valentine's Day, Jared and I decided no sugar. We got the girls a little bit, but for us, NO SUGAR! Instead we are going to Denver this next weekend and getting away for our Valentine's. Yes we will have the girls, but it will still be fun.

I am here to say that I have lost 12.4 pounds so far this year. For the past month, I haven't been able to work out and found out friday, I still have to wait another 1-2 months. I am so bummed. I can do low impact workouts as long as I am careful. But no dancing :(, no P90X :(, and no running :(. I was so afraid I wouldn't be able to take off the weight without being able to workout. But I have and I will continue to do that. I figure in my housework and shopping that I do as my working out. I watch what I eat and I enjoy my free day.

So I hope this Valentine's day, you fall more in love with yourself and your body. Be happy with who you are.

Chocolate

So ladies-
I don't remember the last time I posted on this blog and I thought it was about time.
I am now 16 weeks along (today) and I find out what I am having in 4ish weeks. With this pregnancy I have had A LOT of migraines and I was thinking it was because I wasn't drinking enough water, Utah water is not my favorite. So I have been buying and drinking lots of bottles water and I still have been getting headaches. I have never had headaches like these before, they last for 2-3 days sometimes. So I started to notice a trend that I really don't like. When I eat CHOCOLATE I get the headaches. Dang Grandma O!!! So I had some chocolate on Monday and I had a headache until Wednesday morning. I am happy to say that I have not had a headache since then and that means that I haven't had any chocolate since then either, witch I am not so happy about. :( I usually have some everyday so this has been really hard for me. I am finally starting to feel better and I can't eat the one food that I want. Oh well. The bright side is I have only gained 1 pound. My goal is to not go over 200 lbs so hopefully with the chocolate headaches this will help me achieve my goal.

whatever and whenever

OK! So, I messed up my back on Christmas Eve and I messed it up pretty good this time! It's the longest that it's ever taken to get healed back up! (Dislike). It finally started to feel good enough that I thought I could start working out (like I had planned to do as soon as the new year rolled around). So last week I started doing Zumba with a bunch of ladies out here 3 times a week. It's pretty fun! And today I started to be careful about what I am eating. No, I am not on a diet, I am just not eating whatever I want, whenever I want!! Which I have to say has been difficult already!! I like eating delicious fattening food (especially chips)... I just don't like the thunder thighs and flabby belly that seem to come along with it! So, here goes! :)
